5G Launch: Here’s When, Where And When To Watch A Live Stream Know 5G Tariff Plans In India

New Delhi: Today, India’s 5G services will be unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The services will be introduced at the India Mobile Congress (IMC), now taking place in New Delhi. It will continue until October 4. “Encapsulate, Engage and Experience a New Digital Universe” is the theme of this year’s IMC event. The primary purpose of the event is to promote innovative technology, especially indigenous technology.

High data rates, reduced latency and seamless coverage are all promised by 5G technology. According to reports, it will improve the network, spectrum and energy efficiency.

How to watch a live stream?

Together with other well-known news channels, the national public broadcaster Doordarshan will bring the event live. Interested parties can follow the 5G live updates there. The sixth edition of India Mobile Congress will also be launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The speech will start at 10:00 am.

Which cities will be the first to get 5G service?

High data speeds and expanded coverage will be provided by 5G technology, as mentioned earlier. 13 Indian cities will initially get 5G internet services. The list of cities includes Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Jamnagar, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and Pune.

Jio, Airtel and Vi, three mobile carriers, do not currently offer 5G tariff plans. But telecom services are expected to introduce 5G tariff options soon as 5G services start this year. Reliance Jio announced earlier this year that it would roll out 5G services in at least four cities by Diwali this year: Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai. Airtel also has plans to roll out 5G services this year.

Despite purchasing spectrum in 17 circles across the country, Vodafone Idea, the third largest telecom provider in India, has not announced its plans to roll out 5G services. The government’s goal is to have 5G telecom services available across India within two years, said Union Minister of Electronics and Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw, who stated on Sunday that 5G telecom services in India will be offered very soon.

He went on to say that India is preparing to launch 5G services in October 2018.
