The nose of the train was recently repaired in record time. The train was on its way to Gandhinagar at the time. The incident had taken place between Ahmedabad’s Vatva and Maninagar stations, but on Thursday the train had traveled to Gandhinagar Capital station and again to Mumbai Central without the panel.

“The nose cone cover of the train’s carriage, along with the mounting brackets, was damaged in the livestock accident. However, vital parts of the train were unaffected. The damaged nose cone was replaced at the Coach Care Center in Mumbai Central,” it said. Sumit Thakur, Western Railway chief public relations officer.
