EPFO Announces Diwali Bonus for THESE Employees; check details


New Delhi: Before Diwali, gifts and bonuses are pouring down on government and non-government workers. The most recent entry on the list is EPFO’s workforce. Before the holiday season, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) announced a Diwali bonus for its staff. The Social Security Organization announced this week that it will provide a productivity-related bonus (PLB) to all of its Group “C” and Group “B” (non-gazetted) employees.

The qualified EPFO ​​workers would receive PLB in the amount of 60 days salary as part of this incentive, up to a maximum of Rs 13,806. The Social Security Organization also stated that in order to pay the advance, each eligible employee must provide an assurance that “the advance will be set off against the PLB due for the year 2021-2022 and any excess paid to PLB for the year 2021 -2022 would be refunded immediately.” (Also read: Want to record cinematic style videos with your iPhone? Just a few days before Diwali 2022, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization will publish the Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) for eligible employees of Group C and Group B (non-gazetted).

The regular staff of Group C and Group B (unpublished), whether temporary or permanent, are entitled to the bonus if they were employed pro rata and also on the last day of March 2021-2022, according to the EPFO ​​circular . However, departmental temporary employees, contract employees and additional employees are not eligible for the incentive.
