New Delhi: The Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team defeated South Africa by 16 runs in Ind vs SA 2nd T20 International to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match T20I series. With this win, the Men in Blue won a T20 series at home against South Africa for the first time. Leading the bat at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, fiery fifties from KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav helped India post a massive 237 runs.

While the South African team was hitting, Rohit saw Sharma suddenly bleeding from his nose, most likely due to Guwahati’s dampness. The incident happened in the 12th over of South Africa’s innings. Despite this, the senior opener remained on the field and did not go out. He immediately wiped his nose with a towel while continuing to instruct bowler Harshal Patel as well as players on the field.

However, Rohit went off the field for some time later. His dedication and dedication won the hearts of fans who praised the Indian skipper for doing the job despite not being quite right.

Team India has already won the three-game T20I series 2-0, following Sunday’s series win in Guwahati. According to a PTI report, Virat Kohli will reportedly not play the third and final T20 international between India and South Africa in Indore on Tuesday.

“After the final game against the Proteas, Kohli will join the squad in Mumbai from which the team will depart for Australia on October 6 for the World Cup T20PTI reported.
