GATE 2023: Last chance to register with no late fee at

PORT 2023: Registration with no late fee for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering of GATE 2022 ends today, October 7. Candidates who have yet to register for the exam can now do so at

The GATE 2022 application deadline has been extended twice. First, the application deadline of GATE 2023 (without late fee) was September 30, which was extended to October 4.

Those who register for the exam between 8 and 14 October must pay a late fee.

GATE 2023 application fee (without late fee) is 850 per paper for female candidates. Then they have to pay and 1,350 per paper.

Likewise, the application fee for SC, ST, and PwD candidates are: 850 per paper up during the regular window (until 7 October) and Then 1350.

For candidates in the open category and foreigners, the registration fee is 1,700 per paper until October 7 and 2,200 thereafter to submit GATE requests.

GATE is a national-level exam that tests comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce, and arts disciplines.

GATE result is used for admission and/or financial support of postgraduate and doctoral programs in relevant industries.

Many public sector enterprises (PSUs) have used the GATE score in their hiring process.
