GATE 2023 Registration Deadline Extended Again Without Late Fee

PORT 2023: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has again extended the last date for applying for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023 without late fee. Now candidates can submit their forms until October 7 at

Originally, the application deadline of GATE 2023 (without late fee) was September 30, which was extended to October 4.

Candidates are also allowed to register for the exam between October 8 and 14, but during this period they will have to pay a fee.

For the current window, the application fee for GATE 2023 is: 850 per paper for female candidates. Then they have to pay and 1,350 per paper.

Likewise, the application fee for SC, ST, and PwD candidates are: 850 per paper up during the regular window (until 7 October) and Then 1350.

Others, including foreigners, have to pay 1,700 per paper until October 7 and 2,200 thereafter to submit GATE requests.

GATE is a national level exam that tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Science/Commerce/Arts.

The GATE result can be used for seeking admission and/or financial aid for postgraduate and doctoral programs in relevant industries.

Many public sector enterprises (PSUs) have used the GATE score in their hiring process.
