Hardik Pandya turns 29: all-rounder shares emotional post for his son

New Delhi: Hardik Pandya, the star all-rounder of the Indian cricket team, regarded as one of the best all-rounders of the current generation of cricketers, turned 29 on Tuesday 11 October. Hardik, who made his international debut in 2016, has become a key player for India in white-ball cricket. He is currently in Australia for the World Cup T20 2022. Many star cricketers including Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul and Dinesh Karthik have been wishing Hardik on social media.

Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya himself posted a heartwarming video on his birthday, dedicated to his son. The all-rounder in his role revealed that he missed his son on the special occasion. “Missing my boy a little more on my birthday. Best gift I got,” Hardik wrote in the caption of his Instagram post.

From being on the cusp of being dropped from the Indian cricket team for his struggles with the bat and bowl to leading Gujarat Titans to their first IPL win in their debut season, the big turnaround was all thanks to his fitness. Hardik took a break at the end of last year to work on his fitness and has worked hard to come back as an adult player.

Not only is Hardik winning matches for India with his rock hard skills, but he has also made some valuable contributions with his bowling.

Speaking of Hardik’s career, he scored 528 runs in 11 Tests and took 17 wickets. The all-rounder took 63 wickets for 2438 runs in 66 ODIs. Hardik has scored 1549 runs in 73 T20I matches and has taken 54 wickets in this period. Speaking of IPL, in addition to scoring 1535 runs in 107 matches, he has also taken 50 wickets.
