Yes, the company has invested money in an electric scooter production brand, but it is also preparing to launch its own electric scooter. Well, the world’s largest two-wheeler producer is launching its new electric two-wheeler brand – Vida, in the country tomorrow. A new electric scooter will also be launched as part of the exercise. While the brand has kept quiet about its upcoming electric scooter, some details have surfaced over the internet. Based on details, this is what we can expect from the launch of the Hero Vida electric scooter tomorrow.

A previously leaked image showed that the Hero Vida electric scooter will have a boxy appeal. The scooter will have a rather quirky design with flat side panels and eye-catching LED headlights at the front. The scooter also gets a gray finish for the 5-spoke alloy wheels with telescopic forks at the front. More details will emerge as the brand takes the veils off the scooter tomorrow.

As for features, the Vida electric scooter will likely have a fully digital instrument panel, which will come with technology such as Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. A range of approximately 130-150 km is expected on the Hero Vida electric scooter. It will also come with interchangeable battery packs as the company has partnered with Bharat Petroleum to set up battery changing stations at fuel tanks.

In all likelihood, the Hero Vida electric scooter will have a price tag of just over Rs 1 lakh. Therefore, it will rival Ola S1, Ather 450X, TVS iQube, Okinawa Okhi-90 and more. In fact, multiple variants of the scooter are expected to be launched in our market.

The brand has tested the scooter for more than 200,000 km in a variety of test conditions. Also, more than 1,006 scooter prototypes and children’s parts were developed and tested during the course.
