Implement Cyber ​​Security Syllabus at UG, PG Levels: UGC to Universities


University Grants Commission (UGC) has asked higher education institutions to implement the Cyber ​​Security course syllabus at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

The committee recently launched a cybersecurity course on the occasion of Cyber ​​Jaarookta Diwas.

“On the occasion of Cyber ​​Jaarookta Diwas, October 6, 2022, the University Grants Commission (UGC) launched the Syllabus of Cyber ​​Security Course at Undergraduate and Post Graduate Levels (https://www.ugc.ac.in/e book/ Cyber ​​Security/mobile/index.html),” the UGC notice reads.

“Considering the importance of cybersecurity and in spreading cyber hygiene among higher education institutions, you are requested to take the necessary steps for the implementation of the Syllabus of Cyber ​​Security Course at Undergraduate and Post Graduate level in all streams of your esteemed university and also in the affiliated/constituent colleges,” it adds.

The syllabus aims to create more aware, responsive and responsible digital citizens, the committee said.
