Indian Railways passengers can travel without a confirmed train ticket. HOW?

Getting train tickets from Indian Railways during the holiday season becomes very difficult. However, to tackle the problem, the gigantic organization comes up with multiple solutions, such as starting special trains or increasing the frequency. In a similar effort, the organization has announced that passengers can travel on the train even if the ticket is not confirmed. The new announcement gives travelers the opportunity to travel on the train without reservation during the holidays. The only condition you have to meet is that you have bought a waiting card at the counter.

Based on the new announcement, after purchasing the ticket at the counter, you must purchase the ticket made by TT. If you have such a ticket, the ticket checker cannot stop you from traveling. This service is not available to those who purchase tickets online. If tickets are not confirmed online, passengers will not be allowed to board the train. The price of the ticket will be refunded.

Meanwhile, users can order their tickets through Quick Tatkal, a new authorized tatkal booking app. To offer train reservations, Quick Tatkal partners with Railofy, one of IRCTC’s premium booking partners. Moreover, this software has unique features for booking tatkal ticket quickly by pre-filling all information. 179 special trains have been launched by Indian Railways to improve passenger comfort.
