New Delhi: The Indian cricket team has arrived in Australia to participate in the T20 World Cup 2022 from 16 October. Upon their arrival, the Men in Blue took part in training sessions for two days in a row to adapt to the Australian conditions. Rohit Sharma & Co are now ready to play their first practice match on Monday. Indian players were given a rest on Sunday after holding practice sessions for two days in a row. Some cricketers from India arrived in Perth to watch the Australia v England match which started today.

Team star spinner R Ashwin shared an Instagram story in which he can enjoy the first T20 International match between Australia and England alongside Yuzvendra Chahal, Dinesh Karthik and Harshal Patel.

Cricket teams around the world, who will compete in Australia’s 2022 T20 World Cup, are currently playing competitive cricket to bolster their marquee preparations. The Indian cricket team will play a number of friendlies before officially kicking off their World Cup campaign with a match against Pakistan. Team India will face Western Australia XI in two warm-up matches on October 10 and 13 in Perth.

India will play two warm-up matches against Western Australia on October 10 and 13 before starting their World Cup campaign. After Perth, the Indian team travels to Brisbane, where they play two official warm-up games against Australia and New Zealand on October 17 and 19.

Following this, the Indian team will begin their campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on October 23. Team will take on the runners-up of Group A in the World Cup T20 qualifying round in Sydney on October 27.
