Jammu and Kashmir are becoming the destination of international motorcyclists; Bahrain, Oman, Germany Cyclist Hits

srinagar: Kashmir was already a favorite destination for motorcyclists from all over India, and now motorcyclists from all over the world flock to the roads of Kashmir and Ladakh. In the Kashmir Valley, hundreds of bicycle rallies have been organized by various departments and groups in recent months. In addition, an International Bikers rally was held in Srinagar for the first time. The rally was launched by the tourism department of Jammu and Kashmir. For the first time, a group of 20 motorcyclists from Bahrain, Oman and Germany will go on an expedition to Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. The motorcyclists started the journey from Ladakh and explored the roads of Leh, Kargil and later Sonamarg in the region of Kashmir. They also went to Pahalgam hill station in South Kashmir. The rally was flagged in Srinagar by Tourism Minister Sarmad Hafeez. The cyclists called Kashmir Valley paradise on earth and said it was one of the best challenging terrain for these cyclists. Mehdi Hassan, captain of the Bahrain Bikers Group said:

“Our group has made so many trips. When we thought of doing something different, we came up with the idea of ​​doing Kashmir. When we say Kashmir, we say why and the media portray it as dangerous, but we wanted to investigate for ourselves and frankly, when we planned it, we didn’t regret it at all. The whole group loved it. We loved the scenery, the delicious food and the good people. You cannot imagine how people have helped us. We got free food and snacks from the locals in villages.

He added: “Our friends from Oman are interested and they will also visit Kashmir soon. Bahrain Bikers was founded in 2012 and we have almost 130 members on this trip. is a motorcycle club and we also do a lot of social work”

The group consisted of twenty motorcyclists, including two women, the remaining motorcyclists were mainly from the Gulf and one of them was from Germany and Europe. The cyclists took a ride on the road overlooking Dal Lake.

“We came from Bahrain to India. To Leh and Kashmir, I can’t even say anything about Kashmir, it’s in our hearts, we’ve loved Kashmir since childhood. The motorcyclists expressed their greatest joy at the wonderful hospitality and welcome they received from people in Srinagar. The female motorcyclists found the place safe and extremely challenging in terms of terrain.

Priya Shankar, an Indian motorcyclist, settled in Bahrain. Said: “I’ve been riding with these bikers for a long time and it’s been great. When they said they were going to Kashmir, I said I’ll sign up too. It was fantastic. Even though I’m Indian, I’ll go and promote it. I’ve seen stunning footage of the place I’m part of the Biker brothers group and it’s been pretty safe for them to take very good care of us Dr Aziz curated this whole event He had a crew behind us We were safe and bikers are extremely protective of the female bikers, so we had no problem.”

Tourism Secretary called Bahrain Bikers’ cycling expedition a positive sign for Kashmir Tourism. He said the expedition would open gates to many other activities that Kashmir has a lot to offer in the field of adventure tourism. He also expressed his thanks to Bahrain Bikers and KCCI for organizing the cycling expedition.

“We have a group of motorcyclists from Bahrain, these are international tourists, they are from the Gulf. There is a motorcyclist from Germany, there is a lady Biker from Oman and I am thrilled that our place is opening. I think Kashmir has a huge potential in cycling especially when you consider the terrain, climate and places and I’m sure it can become the best cycling destination in the world,” said Sarmad Hafeez, secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Tourism.

The tourism department of Jammu and Kashmir says that Kashmir has the potential to become the world’s best destination for adventure tourism. And they are working to make it the hub of adventure tourism. Tourism had already broken all records for tourists this year, the number of tourists visiting Kashmir had surpassed 20 lakhs for the first time since independence, and now tourism players and the UT government are opening other attractions for tourists around the world in Kashmir.
