Justin Bieber Postpones Rest Of His ‘Justice’ Tour Dates To Next Year

New Delhi: Pop icon Justin Bieber has postponed all of his remaining ‘Justice’ World Tour dates to an indefinite time ‘next year’, following the cancellation of his tour dates in South America, South Africa and Asia.

The announcement, made via the tour’s official Instagram page, says “ticket holders will be notified of next steps as updates are made.”

According to Variety, the tour, which is set to begin in 2020, has already been repeatedly postponed or postponed, most recently due to his diagnosis of Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a rare infection that resulted in facial paralysis in his case. Most of North America was covered when it finally started in March, but he postponed the remaining dates in early June after revealing his struggles with the disease.

After resuming the tour in August, he stated on September 6 that he needed to take a break from performing after several shows “to make my health the priority now”.

The tour was set to kick off in Malaysia on October 22, pass through East Asia, Australia and New Zealand, then resume in Europe in January before finishing in late March. In addition, the rescheduled North American dates have not been formally postponed.

Fans of the postponed concerts, who will not be able to get refunds until the shows are formally cancelled, were unhappy with the announcements despite Bieber’s earlier disclosure about his health, according to the comments to the post.

“Just cancel the rest of the tour at this point and give everyone the money back. I can’t even remember how long ago I bought tickets, it’s been so LONG!” wrote one fan.

Announcing the postponement last month, Bieber wrote, “Earlier this year, I went public about my battle with Ramsay-Hunt syndrome, which left my face partially paralyzed.”

Due to this illness, I was unable to complete the North American leg of the Justice Tour. After rest and consultation with doctors, family and team, I went to Europe in an attempt to continue the tour.

“I’ve done six live shows, but it really touched me. Last weekend I was at Rock in Rio and I gave everything I have to the people of Brazil. After I stepped off the stage, the exhaustion overcame me and I realized I remember I had to make my health a priority right now so I’m going to take a break from touring for now I’m going to be fine but I need time to rest and get a better period proud of this show and bring our message of justice to the world. Thank you for your prayers and support during all this exclamation point, I love you all passionately!”

The news surprised everyone, as the night before, Bieber had shared photos of his performance at the Rock in Rio festival on Instagram.
