MS Dhoni’s witty answer to his ‘World Cup odds’ will leave you amused – Watch

The men in blue are starting their World Cup T20 run by playing against Pakistan on Sunday. The competition takes place in Melbourne. Former legendary skipper MS Dhoni will not be in the dressing room this time.

It has been 2 years since Dhoni retired from international cricket but he is one of the most followed cricketers. The former India captain appeared at a promotional event and said: “I am not playing in the World Cup. The team has already left”.

Former India captain Dhoni will be seen wearing the yellow jersey at the upcoming IPL. An inspiration for an era, he is the only captain to have won three ICC trophies and have over 10,000 runs in the 50-overs format.

Earlier he said: “Absolutely. It’s a simple reason: it will be unfair not to play in Chennai and say thank you. [to the fans]. Mumbai is a place where, as a team and as an individual, I have been given a lot of love and affection. But it wouldn’t be fun for the CSK fans.”

On the other hand, the Indian team led by Rohit Sharma is fully prepared to take part in the highly anticipated clash against Pakistan on Sunday.

India squad: Rohit Sharma (Captain), KL Rahul (Vice Captain), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Dinesh Karthik (wicketkeeper), Hardik Pandya, R. Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel , Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Harshal Patel, Arshdeep Singh, Mohammed Shami.
