Paris Hilton reveals she was ‘sexually abused’ at boarding school

New Delhi: Socialite Paris Hilton says she was “sexually abused during medical examinations” at boarding school and “didn’t understand” what was happening to her.

The 41-year-old heiress, who first opened up about being “mentally, emotionally and physically abused” at Utah’s Provo Canyon School during her 2020 teens, has now claimed that the school would routinely “conduct cervical exams” at the students and did not understand what happened during the “very scary” ordeal, femalefirst.co.uk reports.

She said, “Very late at night, this would be around three or four in the morning, they would take myself and other girls into this room and they would do medical exams. This wasn’t even with a doctor. It was with a couple of different staff members, where they wanted us to lay on the table and stick their fingers in us.”

“And I don’t know what they were doing, but it certainly wasn’t a doctor and it was really scary. It was really scary, and it’s something that I had really blocked for years.”

The ‘This is Paris’ star, who tied the knot with entrepreneur Carter Reum in February 2021 – added that memories of the alleged abuse she suffered “comes back all the time” and now realizes the nature of the ordeal definitely a “sexual” element in it.

She told The New York Times, “But it comes back all the time now, and I think about it. And now, looking back as an adult, that was definitely sexual abuse.”

Paris continued her experience in a series of tweets, in which she claimed she was “forced” to lie on a padded table and open her legs as she cried.

She tweeted: “Sleep deprived and heavily medicated, I didn’t understand what was happening.”

“I was forced to lie on a padded table, spread my legs and submit to cervical exams. I cried as they held me and said, ‘No!’ They just said, “Shut up. Be quiet. Stop wrestling or you’ll go to Obs. It’s important to be open about these painful moments so that I can heal and end this abuse.”

More than two years ago, the former ‘Simple Life’ star first claimed that she “buried her truth for so long” before deciding to speak out about the alleged abuse she suffered in the 1990s.
