‘Ponniyan Selvan Part 1’ Stays Strong At The Box, Earns THIS A Lot On Day 2


New Delhi: The movie ‘Ponniyan Selvan Part 1’ was one of the highly anticipated movies of the year and had excited all the fans since the makers released the trailer.

The movie has now been released and has received rave reviews from the critics and is also appreciated and loved by the fans. Proof of that can be the numbers it did on the first day. It made history by earning an astonishing Rs 80 crore worldwide on its first day of release, becoming the biggest opening Tamil movie ever.

The film, which earned around 31.25 crore in India on Day 1, has maintained its momentum, netting 28.50 crore at the box office on Day 2.

According to a Box Office India report, the film earned 28.50 crore on its second day, bringing the total to about 59.75 crore.

‘PS-1’ is directed by top filmmaker Mani Ratnam and stars many famous actors such as Vikram, Karthi Sivakumar, Trisha Krisnan, Jayam Ravi and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

The movie came out on September 30.
