Shweta Bachchan Shares Photos From Big B’s 80th Birthday Celebration, Says: ‘Twinning & Winning – Perfect End To…’

Bombay: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan celebrated his 80th birthday on Tuesday. His daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda shared a glimpse of the intimate birthday celebrations on social media. Shweta grabbed her Instagram handle and treated fans to a glimpse of the megastar’s 80th birthday. In the first photo, the father-daughter duo wore ethnic bohemian outfits. They all laughed as they posed. In the following image, Shweta and Amitabh Bachchan were joined by Abhishek in yellow colored kurta pajamas. She shared the photo, writing, “Twinning & Winning – perfect end to an incredible day”, featuring white heart emojis.

Once the photos were posted, Shweta’s friends responded in the comment section. Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar responded with heart emojis. Actor Chunky Panday also dropped red heart emojis. On the occasion of Bachchan’s birthday, a huge crowd of fans gathered just in front of his Juhu residence to wish him. Like every year, again this year he greeted his fans by folding his hands and waving at them.

Big B started his career with the movie “Saat Hindustani” in 1969. He later appeared as Dr Bhaskar Banerjee in Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s “Anand” (1971), for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. Prakash Mehra’s action film “Zanjeer” (1973) established Bachchan as a star to watch in the industry and since then he has captivated audiences with versatile roles.

Meanwhile, on the movie front, Big B was recently featured in director Vikas Behl’s family entertainer film ‘Goodbye’ alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Neena Gupta and Pavail Gulati. The film received positive response from the audience. He will next be seen in director Sooraj Barjataya’s upcoming family film ‘Uunchai’, along with Anupam Kher, Boman Irani and Parineeti Chopra. The film is all set to hit the big screens on November 11, 2022.
