Northeastern University’s law school last week sent letters of acceptance to more than 4,000 law students, both current and past. After the students received the letters of acceptance, the university said the letters of admission had been sent by mistake. The acceptances were sent due to a “technical issue,” the institution said, according to a CNN report.

“Admission decisions will not be finalized until later in the academic year,” the statement said.

The university also apologized for the mistake, saying it “sincerely regrets this accidental mistake and is taking steps to ensure it doesn’t happen again”.

The law school at Northeastern University in Boston has 234 students for the 2022 academic year. For the next academic year, 3,877 students in all admission applications submitted, according to the university’s website.
