Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar react to India’s historic win in Women’s Asia Cup Final

Ind vs SL Women’s Asia Cup final: The Indian women’s cricket team defeated Sri Lanka by eight wickets in the Women’s Asia Cup 2022 final on Sunday. In response, India chased the goal in just 8.3 overs after losing just two wickets. Smriti Mandhana played some classy strokes during her innings, scoring an unbeaten 51. In this way, the Indian women’s cricket team also avenged the men’s defeat in the ICC Men’s Aisa Cup Super-4s against Sri Lanka last month.

India faced Sri Lanka in the final of the Women’s Asia Cup for the fifth time on Saturday and Sri Lanka was the losing party on all those occasions. This year’s Women’s Asia Cup was the eighth edition of the tournament and India has reached the final of all eight editions. The Women’s Asia Cup tournament that started in 2004 was played in ODI format until 2008. Since 2012, it has been played in T20 format.
