Pooja Vastrakar controversial runout: Yuvraj Singh, the former all-rounder of Team India, criticized on Twitter on Saturday that Pooja Vastrakar of the Indian women’s cricket team was judged as finished by the third umpire during the match between India and Sri Lanka in the 2022 Asian Cup for women. The incident happened in the last over of the innings. Pooja Vastrakar got a run-out from the third umpire, but replays showed the Indian batter had her bat in the crease before the bails were disrupted by the Lankan wicketkeeper. After seeing the replays, even the Indian batters and Sri Lankan players were ready to resume play, but the third umpire who ruled that Vastrakar had run out left everyone perplexed.

Speaking of the match batting first, the Indian women’s cricket team scored 150 runs in 20 overs. For India, Jemimah Rodrigues scored 76 and Harmanpreet Kaur scored 33 points. In response, the Sri Lankan team pulled out all the stops after scoring 109 runs in 18.2 overs. India won this match by 41 runs.
